Cars...

Born in 1955, while Bertoni was putting his final touch on the DS19, I grew up with Citroën blood flowing in my veins. The first DS in the family was a 1956 DS19, Gris Rosé, that my father ordered shortly after the 1955 Paris Auto Show. After 10 good years of service, the DS went to Citroën Heaven on the way to the summer vacation. She was, then, replaced by a 1963 DS19 "Contrôle". She was also the first DS that I ever drove.

After years of waiting for my driver's license, I bought my first DS; a black 1973 DS20 Administration. Being a car collector for the past 30 years, I presently owns five Déesses, a 1957 DS19 US Export,  a 1959 DS19 Administration and two DS21 Pallas Export (1966 and 1969); the fifth one being a 1969 ID19 for parts.

During my younger days, I worked on race motorcycles and go karts. I raced cars and was a part time stunt driver for a while.

I also do love American cars. I had close to fifty altogether, but with the price of gas and the room they take, I presently stick to Citroens…
